Mat Removal

Medical Shave Downs

• Is your pet severely matted?  Unable to brush them out?  Then a medical shave down is perfect for your pet.  Our technicians are trained on how to safely remove matted fur giving your pet much needed relief.  We're not groomers, but we'll certainly make them look great in their new shaved-down look!  Heated Outdoor Bath included (Dogs only).

Sanitary Shave - $20

• Sanitary shaves cut down the hair around the belly, the back of your dog’s legs and private parts, so that when they relieve themselves, it doesn’t get in the hair and then get spread around. Sanitary cuts for dogs are really about preventing the spread of bacteria, more than for appearances.

Brush Out

• Brushing your pet regularly not only keeps their coat looking good, it helps release dead hair, cuts down on excess shedding, removes mats, and distributes the natural oils in the skin to keep your pet healthy.

• Anal Gland Expressions - $20
• While most groomers only perform external anal gland expressions, our veterinary technicians are trained to do internal. We are able to identify abnormalities in gland anatomy and discharge, allowing us to alert you if a follow up with your veterinarian is needed.
  

• Ear Lavage and Cleaning** - $15
• Our technicians are trained to clean deep within the ear canals using safe and standard practices. 
• Ear Hair Pluck* - $5

*Must be purchased with Ear Lavage and Cleaning.

**If an infection is suspected, only the external portion of the ear will be cleaned, and a recommendation for medical evaluation will be given.

• Blood glucose curves are an ideal tool to determine the effectiveness of your pets insulin dose. Multiple blood glucose readings are taken throughout the day, starting from the morning feeding and insulin and ending just before their evening treatment. The information gathered from the curve will help your veterinarian determine if your pets insulin dose is adequate or needs to be adjusted.

• We will show you several areas you can safely collect blood from and what techniques are best to use for your pet.  Learn how to operate and calibrate your glucometer, so you can take your diabetic pets blood glucose readings on your own!
• Insulin Demo - Contact for Pricing.
• Giving your pet injections can be scary.  But for pets with diabetes, its a daily necessity for survival.  Learn how to give your diabetic pet their insulin injections safely and confidently.

• Wound Care - $25+
• Does your pet have a wound and needs temporary protection until your Veterinarian appointment?  We got you covered.  Our technicians are trained on how to clean and sanitize wounds properly, reducing the risks of infection while you wait for your appointment.

*Must be purchased with wound care.  Our technicians will not place bandages on unclean wounds.
